Commitment to Community Continues Through Gift

Steve and I became involved with the Mile High United Way when we moved to Denver in 2001. Originally, I was approached by Women United and asked if I would join their community council. After a few years as a council member, I had the wonderful opportunity to co-chair this amazing group.

Marcia and I have been supportive of the United Way concept since 1959 when we moved to Des Moines, Iowa, following four years of service in the U S Army, three of them in Germany. In August, I entered the banking business in Iowa's largest bank as a management trainee.
